By using Codexal Meet you agree to these terms. Codexal Meet is provided by Codexal, Amman, Jordan.
Codexal Meet provides browser-based video meetings with live captions, translation and AI-written summaries. We may change or withdraw features, and we will tell you in advance when a change affects how you use the service.
Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in meetings you host.
Summaries are written by a language model from the captions and chat of a meeting. They can be wrong. They summarise; they do not decide. Check a summary before you act on it, and correct it where it matters.
Free meetings are limited in length. Paid plans are billed per user per month and can be cancelled at any time; the plan runs to the end of the paid period.
Your meetings, agendas, transcripts and summaries belong to you. Section 10 says what permission you give us to handle them.
The Codexal Meet software, its name, its mark and its interface belong to Codexal. You may not copy, resell or reverse engineer the platform, or remove the branding from it.
We aim to keep Codexal Meet available at all times and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. A meeting that is already running is peer to peer, so a problem with our servers does not end a call in progress.
Support is by email at info@codexal.co, answered within one working day. Enterprise customers have a named support manager and agreed response times set out in their own agreement; nothing on this page overrides that agreement.
How we handle personal data is set out in the privacy policy. Where we process meeting content on your behalf, we do so as your processor under a Data Processing Agreement, which is available on any plan and which takes precedence over these terms in any conflict about data protection.

You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to transmit a meeting between its participants, store what you asked us to store, and produce the summary from it. That permission ends when you delete the content or the account. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
Recording and transcription are visible in the room to everyone present. Where you record or transcribe a meeting, you are responsible for having the consent that the law of your jurisdiction requires — the product shows people what is happening; it cannot obtain their agreement for you.
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Codexal is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use or unavailability, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can delete your account at any time, and a paid plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why and give you the chance to put it right where it is reasonable to do so. On termination, you can ask for an export of your data, and we delete it as described in the privacy policy.
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we will tell account holders by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms. The date at the top is the date of the current version.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the courts of Amman have jurisdiction. This does not remove any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.
